How are you feeling? No, really.

If you’ve been on your Trying To Conceive journey for a while, then it’s perfectly normal to feel frustrated at times. In fact, when we polled this community at the beginning of this project, we found that 73% of you felt hopeless at times with only 27% reporting feeling optimistic. We’re sharing these stats to remind you that you’re not alone if you’re struggling. This Clearblue project group is full of likeminded women who are all on the same journey as you – both the highs and the lows.

We also found that 77% of women have felt confused at some point on the journey. With Clearblue ovulation tests, you can find out precisely when you’re ovulating and when you’re most fertile. This hugely improves your chances of falling pregnant.

Your video journal

Have you ever considered video journaling? Not only is it a quicker way to record how you’re feeling than traditional journalling, it also helps you to relieve stress, boost mood and be more compassionate with yourself. Worth a try? We think so.

How the video journal works

This video journal is for YOU. We’d love to see anything you’re happy to share but you’re in no way obliged, this is your own diary to help you boost positive emotions (positive emotions can actually help you to conceive and help you to be kinder with yourself!)

  1. Depending on your cycle, start testing your fertility using a Clearblue ovulation test and film a quick video saying how you feel. Refer to the product leaflet to find out the right day to start testing.

  2. Continue to do this every day until you see Peak Fertility

  3. Start off short and sweet and simply say how you’re feeling. Don’t think about anyone seeing this video, this is for you.

  4. When the week finishes – look back at the videos. How do you feel? More positive? Less frustrated. Able to show yourself more compassion? Hopefully all of the above.

  5. And just think, if this is the month you conceive then you’ll be able to look back on these moments as the earliest memory of your baby ❤️
