Today, we’re diving deeper into how to hook your audience and keep them watching.

What’s the big deal about the hook?

We’ve all scrolled past a TikTok or a Reel before, the truth is, if a video doesn’t immediately catch our interest then we’ll just scroll by. The first few seconds are crucial to stopping the scroll, sparking audience interest, and keeping viewers watching to the end.

So, what makes a great hook? 🤔

The hooks below are tried-and-tested content creator tips: 👇🏼

  1. Start with a bold question or statement

    How about, “Still missing that fresh scent in your laundry? You’re doing it all wrong, babe.” Or: “Need non-stop freshness? Here’s the secret…”

  2. Use visual intrigue

    Show a laundry basket full of clothes, then cut to beads pouring into the drum. Once they’re suitably intrigued, drop the facts.

  3. Speak directly to your viewer

    Humans are all about that face-to-face connection. Direct to camera address is always popular. Show your face and start with a question like, “You’ll never guess what? I just discovered freshness that lasts even after 3 months in the wardrobe.”

  4. Create FOMO

    No one wants to think they’re missing out. Let your followers know they’re not in on the secret to non-stop freshness until they’ve tried Lenor Unstoppables. You could start with, “I’m done gatekeeping. This is how you get laundry that’s too fresh to resist.”

  5. Highlight a clear solution

Remember:

I love love love them all!
Smells so lovely in my bedroom as the aroma from the clothes is filling the air making it smell amazing. So glad I got to test these and although I’ve only used them for a week or so the clothes smell as fresh as they did when they were washed. I’m a non smoker but I’m sure these would help those that are to keep their clothes fresh smelling for longer. Would 100% recommend using these.
