When the top influencers share their home and lifestyle content, they all have something in common, their images are flawless. We’re not sure if there was an influencer convention at some point that we weren’t aware of but there are a lot of insider secrets that can help your posts to look perfect. Here are just a few:👇🏼
Preparation makes perfect 🧐
Don’t forget to prepare your camera and space before you shoot, this step might just elevate your content from zero to hero.
- Clean your camera lens – you’d be surprised how often this step is forgotten
- Tidy the background – you’ll never see a spare sock in the background of a Mrs Hinch shot!
- Tuck away other brands – let’s make Lenor the star of this show
- Use good, natural lighting – if that means waiting until daylight before you shoot, do it🌞
- Ensure your shots are clear and crisp
Picture perfection 📸
Love a still image? You’re not alone, here’s how to make sure your pictures are perfection.👇🏼
- Captivating Carousels: We love to see carousels of gorgeous images (they get more engagement than a single image too). Consider a selection of images including stylish flatlays, your freshly washed laundry and a pack shot with your Lenor bottles and the VIP box they came in.
- Smiling selfies are always a winner. 😍
- Try going all-out lifestyle and matching your laundry with your Lenor bottles. Bonus points if the clothes you’re wearing match too! 🧺
- Steer clear of filters please. We want natural and fresh.
Video validation 🎬
If you love creating reels and TikToks then we can’t wait to see what you come up with. Take a look at our top tips for video content that pops:
- Be sure to shoot Instagram Reels and TikTok videos in vertical format.
- Focus on your Lenor products and show them both in the first 3 seconds of the video. Then go on and show how you use them.
- Don’t forget to edit! There will likely be parts of your recording with unnecessary pauses or movements, cut these for a super slick video.
- Ready to trend? Use your favourite trending sound or the latest laundry trends and have fun re-creating the videos with Lenor (some of our current faves include stop motion video, ASMR, matching laundry with the product colour).
