Olay-Total-Effects-Sensitive-on-the-Savvy-Circle2-jpg

Taking a quick glance at some particularly active members of the project, it occurred to us that having some of our fellow Savvy Circle members take the stage on our blog would make a fantastic new feature on our Olay project.

Read Savvy Circle member Rose1001's thoughts below...

I'm really enjoying the project; I love giving out samples/coupons and this blog has such a lovely inclusive feel with everyone sharing tips and advice, I really feel like I’m amongst friends.

I’ve met new friends, such as Alison the post lady; she rang the bell one day, I rushed to the door all excited thinking it was my kit - it wasn’t and I expressed my disappointment! I told her about the project and she said she’s always looking for something to help her weather-beaten skin so would love a sample. When the kit arrived I gave her a sample, she called by a few days later with her feedback, and now she often stops to chat if she brings a parcel or recorded delivery.

I’ve also used Olay to get to know my new neighbours. They’ve moved in just up the road (it’s very rural here and they’re my nearest neighbours), two single ladies in their 60s. I’m not sure what I would have had to talk to them about without Olay, it really broke the ice!

Everyone’s delighted to get such generous coupons, I’ve given them to ladies in their 20s up to those in their 80s and I feel like Santa when I see the smile on everyone’s face!

I’ve also become more outgoing. Savvy Circle projects are a great way to meet people and try out products at the same time, and I’ve made new friends and feel part of this blog.

I feel as if I know some of you! I’d encourage everyone to check the blogs and contribute as often as possible, there’s always someone who’s interested in what you have to say. Savvy Circle member Rose1001

Have you had similar experiences on our project? What's been your favourite thing about being one of 8,000 Savvy Circle members to try out and share Olay Total Effects Sensitive Moisturiser with friends and family?

My favourite thing about being on this project is going to friends houses or them visiting me and they start up a conversation about Olay. Makes a change from the usual gossip. When I go into work there is at least a couple of people comment on how much they liked their Olay sample or that they have gone out and used their voucher and bought more. A few of them have asked if their skin looks nicer or pointed out that mine looks better. Best of all it prompted my Daughter to buy me more for Mothers Day. Overall this project has been a ray of sunshine for me.

MysteryShopper0007 • 21/03/2012 - 08:49

WOW ROSE1001;THIS IS AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF WHAT SAVVY CIRCLE IS ABOUT; AND COMING FROM A FELLOW PGGZS!! IT SHOWS YOU ARE ATRUE PGGZ MEMBER!!!! :)

MysteryShopper0007 • 21/03/2012 - 08:50

Hey Dani that's an excellent feature!!!!

bUFFPUFF • 21/03/2012 - 09:35

I have had a blast on this project. The product is excellent which helps when spreading the word. I have had Olay Parties but not just at my house. I have spoken to strangers who were discussing skin moisturisers in Morrisons and advised them to go to Tesco with my Voucher and treat themselves and their skin to something that actually works. Even some of my male friends have taken up the option to try out Olay after they have seen what it has done for me.

nbr1968 • 21/03/2012 - 09:55

I have loved being able to give friends and family samples and vouchers for such a great product that really works - the feedback has been really positive, and I have been really happy with the product myself. being part of this Project has enabled me to get to know work friends a bit better and they have been impressed by the organisation of the Project team and I have even encouraged them to look at the Blog and post reviews of the product on review sites.

phatty • 21/03/2012 - 09:59

I think the best part of this project is how people are reacting to my skin even without make up on! Friends and family are noticing a marked difference which boosts my confidence no end! Thank you Olay and Savvy Circle ;)

nearly-a-best-seller • 21/03/2012 - 10:13

The best thing about this project is that it has given me a great boost, reminding me to treat myself, and my skin, more often than I have done in the past. I usually use any moisturizer that is cheap and cheerful, but after using this one, I will be buying moisturizers with more care and attention to detail. I think Olay Total Effects has given my skin a great sheen, and it feels great too. My skin has stopped reacting to it, and seems to look a lot cleaner and less blotchy. Thanks for including me in this project.
I am afraid I gave a handful of samples to the children. They love playing 'shop' with them, and after swimming they had some rubbed into their faces. They are keeping the project box, the empties, and a few vouchers. I helped make a few mothers day cards, and they put the vouchers inside them. I am sure they will be your customers of the future...

SNASHALLJ • 21/03/2012 - 11:59

Thank you so much for letting me be part of the Olay project, I have really enjoyed being part of the project, spreading the word and trying out the new product for sensitive skin.

twixmars • 21/03/2012 - 12:23

I have loved being part of the Olay project. It was great fun organising the Olay ladies night i had. Spreading the word around, sometimes to total strangers who just happen to be in the supermarket beauty section. Getting compliments from friends who say that i look great, it all boosted my confidence. The best thing has been the blogs, especially being a PGGZ!

MysteryShopper0007 • 21/03/2012 - 12:24

Mayzee • 21/03/2012 - 13:44

I have enjoyed giving out the samples and vouchers and it has been nice to have been part of the team. It has got my work colleagues together and we natter more about our skin care than anything else now.

dani • 21/03/2012 - 15:07

Watch out for part #2 by another of our SC members tomorrow... :)

rose1001 • 21/03/2012 - 15:52

@twixmars, mysteryshopper0007 and other PGGZs thank you for your support and friendship, I've enjoyed this project so much more than the others and hope to build on the rapport we've struck up.

Yes I've just been offered a place on the Viakal project as they have had some drop outs, look forward to chatting to you over there, remember you can always join the blog even if you're not on the project team.

Can't wait to read tomorrow's blog by another 'chatterbox' :o

rose1001 • 21/03/2012 - 15:53

@dani thank you so much for offering me the chance to head this blog, I've never blogged until Savvycircle came along. I feel really honoured xx

twixmars • 21/03/2012 - 17:10

@rose1001
It has been a great pleasure chatting to you, the PGGZs and everyone else on the blog. Being part of a savvy project and its blogs has become a part of my daily life. See you on the Viakal project :D

Bunny18 • 21/03/2012 - 18:23

I've loved doing this project talking to other people about skin care, being able to give the them the coupons for money off or a sample. It's great to hear their comments like:
it's smooth
not too strong a smell for a moisturiser, some smell horrible but this is really nice
it soaks in really well and doesn't leave the skin looking greasey and shinny : )
Friends have been great with their feed back, and trying the samples.

wonder55 • 21/03/2012 - 18:50

no -one has given me any feedback after happily taking the samples off me. i have used olay every day and i am seeing a difference in my skin i also feel the cream is too rich for my skin. i prefer to use a lotion. my skin does look brighter than it has for a long time.

rose1001 • 21/03/2012 - 19:02

@wonder55 When giving out samples I always tell people that I will need their feedback in about a week or so and, if I don't see them within that time then I email or phone and ask for it; but I generally give samples and vouchers to people I know that I will see fairly regularly. There's always someone who has to be chased up though :-)

EmmaRodgers • 21/03/2012 - 19:35

I have loved doing this project. I can't believe the difference in my skin! I am definately converted, as are a number of my friends and family too. What a great product, which without doing this project, I'd have never even tried :0)

cheektocheek • 21/03/2012 - 19:47

I have really enjoyed all the hype of doing this . My skin is wonerful so plumped uped up and the pump makes a little go a long way.
Most of the ladies I spoke with have bought their own now and are converted even the younger members of the group who seem to think its too soon for them to worry - silly girls its never too early.
All reports are favourable from ease of use, economical, not greasy, absorbs easily, pleadsant smell and so it goes on. Olay has been part of my life for years and each new product is as super as the last.

twixmars • 21/03/2012 - 20:56

I wonder who will be in the spotlight tomorrow? Can't wait to find out :)

jeannette03 • 21/03/2012 - 23:14

Love the way my skin feels really hydrated after using just a small amount of product, my skin tone and texture is definately improving with continued use and my fine lines are not so obvious . A great plus is the SPF 15.Olay total effects is quite simply a great product that does what it says .

Gizmo_bright_light • 22/03/2012 - 07:19

Hi All

Like many, this is my first trial and it has been intersting! I was delighted that the product was an Olay product as I have been an avid supporter for a great number of years, thanks to the wisdom of my Grandmother and my Mother (and they have great skin) so let that be a testament to the Olay name.
I work in an open office plan setting and the climate in the offices is constantly unpleasent, very dry and stuffy, so using the right moisturiser is paramount. Whilst I have not taken to this particular product instanly, I can see with continued use that there is a benefit. My skin does appear to be slightly more taut and my complexion has evened out. I have had nothing but good responses from my friends who I have passsed the samples onto and my smiling thankyous when I handed them a money off voucher! Thankyou Savvy Team!

gaci • 22/03/2012 - 08:16

I firstly would like to thank dani for allowing me to test this product my first test and hopefully more ,it simply has become my best friend and several friends have also thrown out their old creams and moved over to olay,it is truely is amazing the work and technology that goes into a product is mind baffling, keeping your sensitive skin cared for, glowing and protected from the sun.Well done olay a superb product and only thanks to the savvy circle i now have become a loyal supporter and promoter.gaci

Graciemay • 22/03/2012 - 08:17

I to stop using this product as due to a couple of weeks of usage, my skin started to react. However, it made me realise how good the Olay product is as I've now reverted back to using the original Oil of Olay beauty fluid. Same great smell that takes me back to childhood but not over powering and blends in well with good value for money - especially at a time when trying to be frugal.
So even though I can't use the Olay Total Effects 7 in one cream, the outcome to this project has been a positive one. Well done Olay!

Frooney001 • 22/03/2012 - 08:18

This is a great produce - I really enjoyed using the produce but the best thing was that I now have a really good daily mositurising routine. I would not think of buying anything other than Olay Total Effects as it has proved that it is gentle on even the most sensitive skin. As I have mentioned a few times I am training for the Marathon (relay team) Go me!! and this fab product protects my skin from the sun and the wind. Great experience of being involved in this would love to do another one soon - thanks to every one at the supersavvy circle. Good Luck

Landscapegirl • 22/03/2012 - 08:23

Wow - some of your bloggers really go for it - this is my first test and my first experience of blogging - will hope to get another test so I can get into the zone with them!
I have had a really enjoyed the experience - my friends and family loved the samples and vouchers and were delighted with the new Olay - they can also see the improvement in my skin which obviously helps to spread the word. I have bought more cream and will continue to use this now.
Thanks for the support and the opportunity to be a tester.
Have chatted to people in pub/supermarket etc about the test and feel that poeple genuinely interested when you have something positive to tell them.

sabineggg • 22/03/2012 - 08:28

Everyone I have given the samples to have now gone out & bought it with the vouchers. We all love it. Thank you Olay!

nbr1968 • 22/03/2012 - 08:29

@wonder55 - you have to "chase" people for their feedback - and make them feel part of the Project by telling them that you are inputting their answers on the Project site and that their feedback is essential! I have found that people are really keen to say how the product worked for them, and a couple have even written reviews online after I encouraged them. They hadn't ever thought of doing that before. I also tell them that I write conversation reports when we talk about the product and that this is also read, and commented upon by the Team, and again this makes them feel that their input is really valued. HTH.

babe9622 • 22/03/2012 - 08:34

I love trying new products ,but i am always cynical !!!! Well i can honestly say i had no reason to be cynical ....this cream is amazing and does exactly what its supposed to do .its been fun getting my friends to try along with me too .my close friend is getting married in a few months time and is thrilled with the results in her words ,and i quote " oh my god its brilliant ,my skin looks smooth again ,i dont look like a wrinkled old bag anymore " lol ,yes i couldnt help giggling at that remark .My daughter has also been more than impressed which has resulted in me buying her more and she is rather fussy about her skincare routine ,so i can honestly say THANK YOU for letting us test this product ,its been fantastic :) .

ranorman45 • 22/03/2012 - 08:37

I have loved taking part in this project,i have met and talked to people that before i just had a nodding aquaintance with, everyone has been very positive about the samples and loved the money off vouchers. The one thing that has struck me is how many people with sensitive skin have made mistakes in the past with quite expensive products, the samples gave them a chance to try at home for a few days before they actually purchased it.Many friends have been asking if i have any more samples and am i doing it for anything else! I refer them through to supersavvy and tell them that they to can watch what is going on.This project has been beneficial to all ages from people in their 20 s to others in their 80 s as everyone likes to look and feel great, many thanks count me in on any more projects please !!and thanks again

super-savy-sphere • 22/03/2012 - 08:47

Wow! What a wondeful Blog! I am new to this blogging caper but Super Savy has really helped me to see the benfits and its like being in one big club together - Go girl power! Love to read other people's experiences and sorry to hear that one lady gave out her samples and got no feedback - I would suggest changing your freindship group!

I too have been asked what I am trialling next - answer is not sure as don't think i have been chosen for Viakal which is a shame as I was only with a mixed group last night and we were talking about hard water and how it affects coffee machines etc.

Can't wait for the next opportuinty to spread joy amongst frneds and family . A big thank you to Super Savy!

haze113 • 22/03/2012 - 08:51

Thank you for letting me be part of this, its been an amazing experience, and I have been able to communicate with neighbours that I usually hardly spoke to before, but now we chat alot especially about the product and how good it is. I have not had one bad feedback from the people I have given samples/ vouchers to. Its amazing. Thanks again for letting me take part

berniek40 • 22/03/2012 - 08:53

Really like olay sensitive would not consider my skin to be sensitive so would never buy moisturiser for sensitive skin, however have changed my opinion big time. Friends are commenting on how radiant my skin is even my sons have said how well I look, particularly the youngest when he returns each weekend from his week at uni. Have already bought new bottle of olay sensitive, not like me as I rarely use the same moisturiser twice as I always think it's good not to stick to the same one.

len1310 • 22/03/2012 - 08:54

I have started to see adverts for the product and that made me feel proud to have been a part of it. Ive enjoyed being the barer of gifts for my friends and colleagues and everyone who have used it have given great feedback.
Thanks

NanP • 22/03/2012 - 08:56

In all honesty, when I first received my starter kit with the samples and money-off coupons, I didn't think that I would find enough people who would ant to try them!!
How wrong can you be!! I gave the samples to work colleagues (some of them 35 years younger than me!) friends and a couple of neighbours. One of my colleagues was extremely pleased to receive her sample and coupon as she is getting married in April, and was experiencing some very worrying skin problems, and she has persevered wih Olay and is absolutely delighted with the result!
Another girl I work with had originally grabbed the sample from my hand, explaining that she had sensitive skin, and that she was looking for a new moisturiser that would agree with her skin, she loved it and has purchased her own full size bottle with her voucher, and is grateful that she can easily buy it in the future!!
On a personal note, I have seen a considerable difference with my skin, particularly on the neck and forehead, and have already purchased my next supply!
Thank you for the opportunity to help 'spread the word', all my contacts have enjoyed the trial period, and would like to be included in anything else in the future!!

PonyPal • 22/03/2012 - 08:58

This was my first project and hopefully I have learnt from this one and will engage much more with the next one now that I know how it all works - Thank you very much for the experience and both my friends and I have been very impressed with the product !

rosylee52 • 22/03/2012 - 08:59

I have enjoyed this project and have had a lot of positive comments from family and work,I gave a few samples to my ladies that I deliver "meals on wheels" to,they were thrilled to bits as some of them have used Olay for years and they really appreciated being able to use a money off voucher

queenie24 • 22/03/2012 - 09:01

Loved the project!! It has been nice to give out such a quality product...particulary at what can be a depressing time of the year!!!

Nickyg1696 • 22/03/2012 - 09:04

Have really enjoyed this project too and am happy to be part of a great bunch of people. The project has been made so easy by great organisation and an amazing product. Have not had to sell the idea of using Olay to friends and family as Olay has such a great reputation and they were all willing to be part of the experience.
I have had such positive feedback and on a personal note, like many others, I can see a real difference with my skin. I will definately be buying the product again and hopefully so will all the people I have supplied with sample and voucher.
Well done Olay, yet again, for an amazing moisturiser for sensitive skin.
Bring on the next project.

Brex • 22/03/2012 - 09:11

I have really enjoyed taking part in the Olay project. At last a product that suits me. Everyone has complemented me on the way my skin looks..no more dry, flaky skin. It has helped me with my confidence level as I used to hate the way my skin looked.
My friends that have tried it are also pleased ...in actual fact I ran out of coupons within a week.
Thankyou savvy for allowing me to take part in the trial and thankyou Olay for a product that works .

Mo80 • 22/03/2012 - 09:17

I have a great time on this project it's been great to catch up with friends and family and their feedback has been great. its all so proved a great ice breaker at Mum and toddler group and our Wednesday group has become much more friendly as we are all sharing our experiences of the product. Personally I have really enjoyed this and have found a product I will continue to use and ensure I pass on how good it is to one and all. It's been a pleasure to be part of this and hope other people benefit from all our feedback and market research.

Tara10 • 22/03/2012 - 09:17

It has been lovely being part of the project. I have enjoyed using the product and sharing it with friends. I loved reading the comments.

joolsann • 22/03/2012 - 09:39

It been great using the product you sent me but my face and next does not feel or look different in any way maybe becasue I use these type of products any way. but in all it as been fun and I have still have some of the product left so I keep using it until it is gone.

minieggs • 22/03/2012 - 09:45

I was chatting to my hairdresser the other day, and she mentioned her dry senitive skin, so I gave her a sample and a voucher. It has been reat fun giving them out and seeing how pleased people are to try something new.

moods25 • 22/03/2012 - 09:50

I have really enjoying doing his project, firstly my skin feels great - I am now totally converted. I had a great time with a few girly nights in the house where I gave out samples and vouchers and just talked about product in general, well while we could speak as the white wine then took over. I leave that night at that ; o )

I also took some samples to work - we were having a charity coffee morning, so i gave the rest of them out. To be fair even the men joined in and said they would take home to their wife, but one of the older men confessed into trying it himself and really like it, so I think we need to look into a different bottle cover for the men!!!!! My bosses wife is lovely she is 65 and was really delighted with the sample and has also purchased a bottle since and thinks its great, she said the lines around her eyes are not just as noticeable and her skin felt lovely and firm. So all in all its had the thumbs up.

I have really loved doing this project - an excuse to get the girls over, but also to try something new out, which i love doing. Thanks for including me on this one!

S xxx

ljsmith0479 • 22/03/2012 - 10:21

Since starting this project I have managed to convert 4 of my friends from not using any moisturiser regularly to using Olay daily! Before I started the trail my hubby said I had aged alot around my eyes in the last year and it really upset me but honesty it always good. Even he says since using the Olay he has noticed a big difference in my skin (and he even uses it once a day now too!)

This has certainly made me realise that i do need to take care of my skin more - if I am to stay a yummy mummy!!

Thanks for the opportunity - looking forward to whats in store for us next time!
L xx

freebiegirl • 22/03/2012 - 10:57

I have really enjoyed being part of the project - many thanks!
It has been good to talk more to people and make new friends.
They have been impressed with the product and most have gone on to buy it. I have had compliments that my complexion looks brighter and it certainly feels softer.
Once again, thank you for including me.

girlracer999 • 22/03/2012 - 11:07

This was my first project and I've loved being involved in it. I was a bit apprehensive to start with as I have sensitive skin but once I started trying it my complexion's never looked better. I've really enjoyed sharing the samples and feedback with my friends. Just wish I'd had more time to put into it.
Thanks very much for including me in this project - look forward to many more!

kaalee • 22/03/2012 - 11:58

I fully agree with Rose about this project - its been brill to feel included in 'The Olay Family' & reading everyone's comments is always so interesting.
The product itself has been a revelation - an absolute joy to use.
Thank You to all involved for making this such an enjoyable project.

sunshine2012 • 22/03/2012 - 12:19

I have loved this project. The product OLAY is amazing and so many of the people I have spoken to about it would agree. It suits all types of skins and all ages. Even the men have enjoyed using it secretly.. The project has given me an opportunity to talk to people I did not know very well before. The vouchers have been greatly received and so have the wonderful samples that have gone a long way.
Thank you

Foxy_Chic • 22/03/2012 - 12:22

I've really enjoyed being part of this project. it is a great product and has a positive effect on my skin. Everyone I have spoken to about this product has been really interested and they have all loved the free samples and vouchers.

I love reading other people's opinions and comments and how their freinds and colleagues have reacted to the product.

I'm really happy I was chosen to take part in this project and look forward to future opportunities to take part in more. :)

peapmouse • 22/03/2012 - 13:02

I enjoyed using the product and writing my reports on the product, I hope I will be included in another product. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Thanks again for involving me.

Abbey11 • 22/03/2012 - 13:07

I really like your blog and it's great to hear how much you've enjoyed the Olay Project. I have enjoyed being a part of this project and hope to participate in many more.

Kalenchoe • 22/03/2012 - 13:32

This is so OTT. I really think that some people are trying to make out that Olay has changed their lives. FYI if my neighbour gave me a tiny tube of face cream I'd wonder if she was all there!! This is daft - am I missing something or do you all work in advertising/marketing land?

twixmars • 22/03/2012 - 13:42

@Kalenchoe
Sorry that you feel that way, why did you sign up for savvy circle? I signed up because i love to try out new products and if i can pass them on to my friends and family all the better. Being a part of savvy has been great for me and i look forward to being in other projects. I think it's a great way to do market research, much better than the olden days when you used to get hassled in the streets by a lady with a clipboard! Who else agrees with me? :D

serialhousemover • 22/03/2012 - 13:44

This has been a great and interesting project for me. I've really enjoyed trying out the product and delighted with how it seems to have suited my skin. Giving out the samples, as others have said, has been lovely and it helps so much when you're asking for other people's time and feedback to be giving something to them in the first place. Really my only disappointment has been that the local Tescos does not stock the Olay Sensitive cream as this would have made the vouchers as popular as the samples have proved to be. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to take part!

CoffeeMonitor • 22/03/2012 - 13:55

I've really enjoyed sharing this product with my family, friends and colleagues. I've had lovely feedback from all concerned - even the lady who thought it was too expensive was very enthusiastic about it. The youngest member of my 'team' was pleased with it and loved the feel of it but felt she wasn't old enough to use it (she's 16), after reading some of the other comments on the blog she became convinced it's never too early to start using the best products and has bought herself a bottle using the voucher! I've given all the vouchers out and know that most have been used against a full size product! It's a really great way to get to know people better and make new friends. Thanks very much.

dani • 22/03/2012 - 14:21

Thanks to everybody for sharing your thoughts. It's been really interesting going through them all!

@Kalenchoe: Your comments are appreciated. As you can see, the overwhelming majority of people on our blog seem to love our projects, which is great as we love running them. :) Obviously you are more than entitled to your opinion, though, so thank you for your honest feedback.

Sash361 • 22/03/2012 - 15:21

It's been great being part of this project, not only being able to use a great product but it's given me a chance to take a minute, in this hectic thing we call life, and actually have a good chat to friends and family. So thank you Savvy Circle you reminded me how important it is to sometimes just take that minute.
I have always used Olay/Ulay products and am pleased to say have managed to convert others too!!

Happy Days :0)

Free samples and money off coupons has been an uplifting event for people I work with as we have all had our salaries cut so something positive that also happens to be liked!

Mackem • 22/03/2012 - 18:24

I have really enjoyed this project and have engaged with a lot of women who have been very interested and have tried the product after chatting. I think most women are interested in staying young looking as long as possible and well done to Olay for helping us do that.

MrsSaver • 22/03/2012 - 18:27

It has been very nice to be part of this project. Thank you for the opportunity! I hope Olay takes all the feedback on board and makes this product the best it can be.

The project will be over soon, but I am always looking for new good quality products. I am happy to try new products and share my opinion with other people. By sharing our experiences with others, I believe we are promoting good products and brands.

I have really enjoyed doing this Savvy Circle project for the Olay Sensitive. I love giving out the free samples and the money off vouchers, makes me feel
like father christmas lol. Its nice watching my family and friends faces.

Everybody enjoys a little something for nothing. Its try before you buy and the best thing is you get a money off voucher to buy it with.

The cream was great for me, it didn't make my eyes swell up which has happened in the past. I also use it on my partner as I don;t want him full of wrinkles.

I hope to do more of these in the future, its enjoyable being part of something. :o)

It has been great to be selected as part of this market research. I have had conversations which I otherwise would never have had, I have become closer to the girls at work, I have become more confident talking to people whom I do not know that well and we have been united in trying out something new ( and which most of us love). I have really enjoyed being part of the circle and have ideas about how I would do it differently if there was a next time for me. I have also enjoyed reading the blogs and seeing what others think. This is a great way of getting people involved in a product launch.
I have bought the moisturiser again and think I will continue to do so. Not sure I would have laid out that money without a trial of it first. Thank you for letting me be part of the circle. X

The time has really gone quickly since we received our kits. It has been a real pleasure to take part. I enjoyed using Olay sensitive and found that it left my skin feeling hydrated. Once I was confident that the product worked well I started chatting about it to friends and colleagues and family members. It was a really easy topic ti discuss and everyone wanted to try a free sample. It was good going back to people a few days later to gather feedback. All of which was positive. In fact I have had no complaints or negative comments at all. For every feedback I got I "rewarded" the person with a money off coupon. The only problem I had was when I ran out of the 30ml bottle I resumed using my old moisturiser. Big mistake. It was awful in comparison. I could not wait to get to Tesco's and use a coupon myself to get another bottle. Please put some on offer soon so that I can stock up!

kareeena • 22/03/2012 - 19:19

Another thing ... If I was approached in the street to do research I would decline. This is a great way of getting people involved as and when it suits them. If something is good, I want to tell my friends about it!

L_Kitten • 22/03/2012 - 19:21

I have loved being part of this project. My skin didn't get on with the cream, but friends have found they loved it and have been glad I passed on money off vouchers.

I have enjoyed reading the blogs from everyone, and being part of the project, seeing all the adverts on the TV gives me a real sense of pride.

una5291 • 22/03/2012 - 19:26

Hi there
This project has been the most enjoyable so far. So many people I've spoken to and given samples out this have been really enthusiatic and cant wait to get their hands on this moistuiser! Its lovely to know I have been part of shaping the opinions of others in this project

I have really enjoyed this project as felt I have had a lot in common with the friends and family I have shared the samples and vouchers. Olay is such a well known name, but yet many people I have discovered have just stayed with the original bottle and never tried any of the new ones.
By letting them all try the product I believe 70 to 80% will definitely change.
Thank you for letting me be part of this project I have had a lot of fun and will definitely be using myself.

Summer65 • 22/03/2012 - 19:49

Wow never thought I would enjoy this so much. Spoken to family and friends of varying ages and the feedback has been brilliant. This has definitely given me a glow in more ways than one

scotty • 22/03/2012 - 20:24

I too enjoy sharing samples, and became something of a price comparison site, checking out the offers on Boots site and Superdrug. I think IF just 1% of samples leads to new dedicated Olay fans than the process has been a success. This week I have had 2 lazy sunny afternoons, and usually my hooter would be glowing, so I can vouch for the SPF. I think lots of ladies are realising that the over priced Department Counter lotions and potions are easily matched by what's available in the high street. I think of it as similar to pharmaceuticals, eventually the technology filters down adn us ordinary folks get the benefit.

mermaidchaser • 22/03/2012 - 20:24

I've really enjoyed this experience like a lot of others I've never taken part in this kind of project before, its been great fun talking to friends and colleagues handing out freebies and coupons, its nice to be able to give others a little something and know how much they have enjoyed trying Olay. I've got to know one or two people at work whom I've never really talked to before as they work in different areas to me. Its been great fun thank you Olay

thornbury • 22/03/2012 - 20:36

simple, quick and completely effective - what more can a woman ask for!

Hammy272 • 22/03/2012 - 20:50

What a great idea to give a sample to the postlady. I hadn't thought of doing something like that. I must remember for any future opportunities.

techinwaiting • 22/03/2012 - 21:53

Loved being apart of this project, and getting great looking skin as a bonus.
It was nice to be able to give people something for nothing, and feeling that I had to pressurise them in to buying, they could decide for themselves.
Having samples and vouchers made it easier to start talking about total effects, especially in the first few weeks of this project. But now I have gained confiedence to talk to people about stuff that is not work related. Thanks Super Savvy.

taiter • 23/03/2012 - 06:02

Thank you for including me in this project. I love recommending something that works for me and Olay Sensitive surely did! I love the texture of the moisturiser and the fact it had an SPF factor as I am very careful in the sun. Reading the Blogs and looking at pictures I realised how much more special a sample is if packaged in a gift bag so will certainly do that in future projects if it is not done already!

jamajka25 • 23/03/2012 - 08:04

i Really enjoyed the project. I will definately recommend Olay Sensitive. It left my skin looking much younger. I can see the difference and I feel great about it.

Laura C. • 23/03/2012 - 09:37

jus had to mention that olay sensitive is on promotion at tesco, the 30ml is just under £10, so with the £3 off coupon that makes it approx £6.50. two of my sisiter-in-laws who tried the product and liked it, said they would buy it if it was cheaper, and told me to hold on to their coupons and buy the product of its on promotion and i can use the coupon on top of it! so yesterday, when i went shopping at tesco and saw the promotion i bought them both one. i will phone them later to tell them. i also took the oppertunity to buy myself a replacement bottle as i am missing it!

katekitp • 23/03/2012 - 10:34

I have really enjoyed being part of this project,my colleagues were sooo jealous and eager for a sample.I hope there will be more projects like this I have been inspired to make more of an occasion of handing out freebies and combine it with a girls night in!!!!

raftery • 23/03/2012 - 11:44

been a good project, family and friends overall liked the product, I like the container as it is easy to transport in bag for top up application if needed especially on sunny day - yes we had one recently!!

Peachie_d • 23/03/2012 - 12:35

The reaction to friends receiving the samples has been great. They are very happy to 'receive something nice for a change'. I wish I could treat them every week!

They are very objective in their views as they have nothing to lose or gain by telling the truth about the product. All reports are favourable after using for a while.

brightlights • 23/03/2012 - 14:22

absolutely loved doing this project - the product is wonderful and now both people who know me )and people who dont!) know that I've been involved in it ! Its been great telling everyone how good the product is and giving out samples and vouchers. Roll on the next one (hopefully)

colourqueen • 23/03/2012 - 16:33

I've enjoyed doing this project although haven't had much time to be too active on the blog. I've enjoyed reading people's entries when I have logged in though. In all, it has been a really well organized project with good opportunities to chat to family and friends for feedback. I think 6 weeks might have covered it though as the samples all ran out early and the feedback petered out a bit.

pradaaddict • 23/03/2012 - 20:17

thanks for letting me be part of the project, its been great. Everyone was really happy with their samples and I will certainly be purchasing this product for myself

alexnju • 24/03/2012 - 11:41

My favourite thing about being on this project is that I have had the chance to spread the word about something I feel very positive about. I love this product and when I love something I want the world to know...!! I have thoroughly enjoyed being on the team and look forward to the next one...

cdnkt6 • 24/03/2012 - 15:31

well that's my bottle finished, samples all gone and vouchers all gone except the two i kept back for myself lol,had a great time with this project showing friends and family what i got and what to do,the texture was amazing the bottle lasted ages and skin feels great.all the feedback i got was positive and i think most of my friends and family will be using Oay products from now on.

marskie • 24/03/2012 - 17:04

Well done Rose 1001, really liked reading your opinion and experience of the product. In my experience when giving people the products to test being honest at the beginning and telling them that you would appreciate feedback and include the research sheet with their sample does help in them knowing what you require from them after they have tested the product. I had a little notebook of their names and ages of the samples that went out to people and ticked them of as the feedback came in so i would not get confused about which research sheet belonged to who and i also asked them to write their name on the research sheet so i would know who had given me back the feedback. Its been a great project and i feel that i have converted a few people to use it as their regular moisturiser now.

AmnAsi • 03/04/2012 - 21:52

Being on Olay projecct has been exciting in some ways. I am an ardent user of Olay. It runs in our blood now that the females in our family have been using for ages. So the samples and vouchers were taken up really quickly though I struggled to keep them saved for sharing words about this new product at my workplace and among friends. However, I would say , not everyone returned with a positive feedback. Some complained of white residue left on face after application.I myself experienced so too. Someone said that the moisturizer is ok for day use but she does not want to wear SPF at night time. a few however had good opinion about this new Olay product. However, it was fun being a part of this project and collecting honest opinions.
