Sharing is Caring

Sharing is caring!

People often say sharing is caring, in this case, by sharing your samples of Head & Shoulders 3Action Formula, you are literally caring for their scalp and soon-to-be beautiful hair!

Plenty of you have been experts at spreading the word throughout the campaign so far - keep it up! To help out any of you still thinking of ways you can get the word out about Head & Shoulders new formula we've put together a round up of ideas from the team.

  1. A Night Out
We all love getting ourselves pampered and looking our very best before a night out. It's the perfect time to show off our beautiful new hair. It's only a matter of time before an opportunity comes up to discuss exactly how you got that beautiful do!

  2. A Night In
Don't fancy going out? That's okay, staying in and inviting the girls over is a lovely opportunity to get everyone discussing, and better yet trying, Head & Shoulders 3Action Formula. Savvy circle member Onepinkbit has done exactly that and we're sure she's now very popular amongst her friends!

  3. The Nursery
As savvy member mIzabella38 has recommended, wherever parents gather for a morning or afternoon chat is a sure-fire way to bring up the project and give everyone a chance to try it. And collecting the 'Ask your friend' sheets back at the end is easy as they'll all be there to pick up the kids next week!

  4. At the office
We spend a huge chunk of our time at work and so it's the ideal place to get chatting. Maybe Donna from accounting would love to try a new shampoo out? Perhaps Becky at recpetion is looking for something to help her look her best. Whoever it may be, there's always plenty of opportunities to bring up the project.

  5. With your family
Savvy member JennyRC has made the amazing suggestion of handing out stashes of samples to visiting family members, in her case some as far as Florida! The further we spread the word, the more people find out about Head & Shoulders new formula!

If you've done any of the above, make sure you hand out an 'Ask your friend' sheet so we can find out everyone's opinions. The brand love hearing your feedback.

@all: Do you have any other ideas on how to spread the word?

Gave a dubious friend a sample to try when she came to stay and had no other shampoo to use and managed to convert her.

Tracie • 22/02/2017 - 10:19

I have just had feedback from a friend who could not believe the bottle she had been given was actually Head and Shoulders. She was most impressed with the results and said that even her 17 year old daughter had tried it and begged her to buy it when she found out what it was. She said her daughter had said 'it is bound to be expensive but worth it'. Imagine how surprised she was with the price, and impressed with the money off voucher. In her words "2 definite converts".

mikicat0411 • 22/02/2017 - 10:38

I've given out sample bottles to my daughter's guests at her baby shower, and had a little contest to see who could guess what it was. No-one did but they were very impressed, especially the two pregnant girls!

ejwejw • 22/02/2017 - 10:53

Had my final feed back from all the samples I have giving back and the mystery bottles.

The samples were loved, especially as there was enough in them to shampoo even the longest hair. The only complaints I got were from the people with short hair that said there was too much shampoo for them. The mystery bottles were very well received and my friends and collegues loved them. Only one person thought that their hair needed rewashing the next day and was not as impressed as the others. The other bottles' reviews ranged from it smelling lovely and leaving their hair soft and clean and my daughter was especially impressed at the quick amount of time it took to getting rid of her dandruff. All in all very well received and liked.

I suck some samples onto my nearby teachers desks with a message saying have a try and experience this new formulation and get back to me. (I added a chocolate too and told them to have a pamper on me!)

MissLizzy • 22/02/2017 - 12:39

Dear savvy circler Weezes,

What a lovely idea! We look forward to hearing what she made of it :)

Weezes • 22/02/2017 - 12:22

Gave out some to high suspicions friends and colleagues they tried the bottles and begged me to tell them what it was as they really liked it. Their faces were a picture as they said it's not something they would have ever bought and were super pleased.

MissLizzy • 22/02/2017 - 12:38

Dear savvy circler Weezes,

That's fab! Great to have you on the team :) Remember to keep posting us your photos and feedback. The brand are super keen to hear how you're getting on.

maziechocolate • 22/02/2017 - 12:29

My teenage daughter is so happy with this product. The best shampoo *ever* so I am told. If it keeps her happy - I am delighted - thanks Head and Shoulders.

MissLizzy • 22/02/2017 - 12:37

Dear savvy circler maziechocolate,

We are so pleased that she likes it, keep up the good work! :)

clarey67 • 22/02/2017 - 14:24

I am so impressed with all the great feedback I have recieved so far. When guys are trying it and saying they liked it so much they are going swop from their usual shampoo. That's fab .

florenceat50 • 22/02/2017 - 14:47

I don't suffer with dandruff, thank goodness but the shampoo was great on my hair. My hair felt lighter, looked nice & glossy and still looked good the next day. I've realised I don't need to use a separate conditioner after every wash and the conditioner was probably making my hair "heavy" & flat rather than aiding it's appearance.

12Jaysmith • 22/02/2017 - 16:58

Everyone I gave out samples to has been really pleased & several have said that they will now buy head & shoulders instead of their normal shampoo because they said the results was fantastic. 👍🏻 😜

Ive just started my new job in a school this week and theres and ideal place to spread the word and give out samples - the Staff Room! Rest of samples left in there with a note, Please try me!

peachymum • 22/02/2017 - 18:51

I took some samples to nursery and school which went down well and handed out some vouchers to fellow mums.

Katykookoo • 22/02/2017 - 20:27

I gave out a sample to a friend who always uses the same (very expensive) shampoo. It took a lot of persuasion to get her to try the sample but when she did she was very impressed but wouldn't initially believe me that it was H&S. Hopefully she is a convert

lpearce81 • 22/02/2017 - 21:07

I have given out as many sample and coupons to colleagues, family and friends. Everyone was really happy to try. Not everyone would consider using this shampoo because of the dandruff connotations and all but one person was unsure if they would use it again. They thought it was too thick. The remaining testers said other people had commented on their hair being silky, clean, vibrant, shiny and smooth. Most will continue using it.

Penfold63 • 22/02/2017 - 21:55

Most of those who tried the samples were very positive,. However one colleague said she didn't think there was enough in the sample sachets to get a proper lather. Personally I always condition my hair so a matching conditioner would have helped me get a proper feel for the product.

Penfold63 • 22/02/2017 - 22:00

One colleague commented that she would have liked a free space on the review sheet for her own comments.

Chembabe76 • 22/02/2017 - 22:09

How do I write a conversation report about an actual conversation? Only seems to be an online option, personally I rate face to face much higher than anonymous online things

lillyfer • 22/02/2017 - 22:21

I have been handing out sachets at the children's centre to some of the local mum's and dads looking forward to getting some feed back.

341745 • 22/02/2017 - 23:10

All my sachets have now been dished out and I have received some amazing feedback and comments.

Patu • 23/02/2017 - 08:45

Had a conversation with a family member last night about head and shoulders. ( I hadn't told her what the product was). She said the shampoo had a lovely fragrance nice and thick but not sticky. She also felt that she needed to use more shampoo than she normally would. After trying the shampoo she could go longer between washes as she had no itchy scalp. The problem she has found is that her hair has seemed a lot drier and she has needed to use conditioner.

Minnie0120 • 23/02/2017 - 09:41

Ive just collected all of my conversation sheets in and the comments have been very positive, so much so that 2 of the people have already bought more Head and shoulders.

JacqR • 23/02/2017 - 19:43

I wonder if my parents are the oldest people to try out the Head and Shoulders shampoo samples? Aged 92 and 93 - both with their own hair and, even better, the ability to wash it themselves - they were thrilled to be involved with the project, though declined the photo-opportunity, even though Dad's silver locks and mum's brunette hair looked shiny and healthy. Thank you for giving them the opportunity to try something new. They can't wait to find out what the next savvycircle project is!

callex • 23/02/2017 - 19:53

My friend has 5 daughters with long hair. After giving her 2 samples she asked if had anymore. She then went and bought her own full size bottle of head and shoulders and has reported she "loves it" and will continue to buy it.

marymo • 23/02/2017 - 21:11

Excellent shampoo, others have really liked it too and most were amazed tat it was head and shoulders, I think most will be buying it

sheyy • 23/02/2017 - 21:20

Gave out the bottles to my sister in laws and my mum and they loved it. They said their hair felt soft and silky and nourished without having to use extra conditioner or using hair oil etc so they will defo be buying this shampoo when it hits the stores!

Amaksy • 24/02/2017 - 06:47

My brother is happy with the product. He has used other H&S products before so he did almost guess before the big reveal (which he asked me not to film)

mrsdigger • 24/02/2017 - 10:50

Gave our some sample to the men at work who always miss out on things I get to try. Various comments like 'is my hair that bad', 'i'm not my Dad, I haven't got dandruff yet' but all accepted them and promised to try and they did. All but one was very impressed and said how nice it smelt both on using and after, and one said his girlfriend had commented on how good his hair looked. The one who wasn't said it smelt too 'girly'!

Lou2222Lou • 24/02/2017 - 13:00

While pretty much everyone I gave a sample to was impressed with the results from the shampoo most people guessed what it was as soon as I gave them a bottle and told them about the campaign. This campaign would've worked much better in my opinion if it had taken place before the TV ad campaign!

kzedii • 25/02/2017 - 23:00

gave out bottles to my sister, sister in laws and mum to try, gave sachets out to friendsto try, a few guessed it was Head & Shoulders others were surprised.

nadiya • 26/02/2017 - 22:54

So many positive responses. I managed to nicely surprise few of my relatives and friends once I revealed the brand of the product . Thank you for the samples and the coupons. Lots of happy future customers.

zannah111 • 27/02/2017 - 16:53

Well what can I say, love trying new products and especially product that really work. I have very fine hair and suffer with eczema , been using head and shoulders for a long time and was so happy to try this new product and was amazed at how thick my hair felt, even my hairdresser noticed 😀, will absolutely carry on using this product. One very happy lady .

lindak55 • 27/02/2017 - 22:05

I handed out the sample bottles and some of the sachets with the questionnaire. However, as one friend spotted, the feedback sheet actually contained the name of the product, so doh so much for a secret, non labelled sample bottle!! Rather defeated the object!

I would say about 50% of the people I gave the samples to were sceptical and said, "but I don't have dandruff......" It was a bit difficult to convince them to try it, but a few who did and responded really were surprised at the results.

I myself was surprised, especially as the first time I used it was after swimming and I had forgotten to pack my conditioner. I was really amazed as normally that would mean frizzy and uncontrollable hair. Not only did it survive blow drying at the pool but looked and felt soft and manageable. It will definitely remain a staple in my swim bag as I can save time in the shower by not needing a separate conditioner.

moany_mum • 27/02/2017 - 22:50

I handed out samples to my friends on a late christmas night away in February. (They thought they were getting an extra christmas present). They told me they "don't use head and shoulders". They did agree to use it when I told them that in my experience, my hair was soft and silky - and flake free! They have come back and told me they've tried it. Comments included, "I take it back, my hair feels good". Hair looks as good as with expensive stuff - and feels great".

fati18 • 27/02/2017 - 23:44

i handed out all my samples and my vouchers to my friends and family, they all love the sample after they tryed it and they would love to buy Head and shoulders 3 action

sarsar321 • 05/03/2017 - 14:24

I have handed my samples out at the gym in the ladies changing room along with a questionnaire and the feedback I have has been wonderful. Some of the ladies even said they haven't needed to condition their hair after washing with the samples. All the ladies I gave vouchers to have gone out and bought a bottle and have given positive feedback and are converted to the new shampoo. Some of the ladies have then passed it onto their husbands to try after they have commented on her nice their wives hair looks. T
Two of my friends have said their hairdressers have commented on how soft, shiney and conditioned their hair looks and feels and have asked what they are using on their hair !!!.
Six of my friends loved the little sample bottles and have kept them to refill for the gym and for weekends away !!! with Head and Shoulders of course !!!!.
