Not impressed I’m afraid. 3 wipes to do my downstairs floor. Wipes are far too wet and splashed all over the walls when taking them out of the packet. Smells lovely at first then goes fusty as it dries. Won’t be recommending

afy9mab • 26/10/2019 - 00:53

I liked how quickly I could clean my kitchen and bathroom floors, but the finish is smeary on ceramic tiles and vinyl flooring. The wipes are also VERY wet, so stick together and drip everywhere.

Handelhome • 26/10/2019 - 07:48

Used the speed mop multiple times now on different surfaces and still can’t get over how good it is! Easy to use ready to go, cleans properly! Amazing product

Mummy23 • 26/10/2019 - 09:54

I have told all my friends how easy this mop is to use and passed out all the vouchers so they can see for themselves and they love it too #flash speedmop #easy to use.

Collette_Jones • 26/10/2019 - 12:50

Love this mop so far, it's so easy to use and store and the lemon scent smells amazing! Very impressed

leftaylor • 26/10/2019 - 14:45

Initially am surprised at how light the mop is. Am wondering if it will be sturdy enough or will it snap. the cloths seem very wet. Lets see how it fairs!

sharp5 • 26/10/2019 - 15:33

Quick and easy to use, but does not get in all the crevices . Light and manoeuvrable and easy to attach cloths but still have to collect 'dirt pile' eg cat biscuits, larger food bits, with a separate cloth when at end of floor cleaning. nice fragrance to cloths.

SiennaGov2014 • 27/10/2019 - 00:41

First impressions of this mop was the ease of carrying it and using it.

I live in a 3 story house with a large bathroom on the 3 rd floor so for quite some time I’ve struggled with a easy way to clean but then this cane along I can now start at the top and work my way down.

My floors look and smell clean! First impression is extremely positive.

Jennyred8 • 27/10/2019 - 09:15

Super easy to put together and to use, makes light work of cleaning all my floor surfaces

sammygb • 27/10/2019 - 15:47

Unfortunately i've been in & out of hospital every other day with my mum for the last 2 weeks, so housework has been the last thing on my mind. Only just got round to having a go with it - sorry.
It was a bit tricky to use at first, as it kept flipping over, but eventually we got the hang of it.
It's ok for light work, i suppose, but it left our floors very sticky - to the point that it pulled my slippers off!
As you can't store it with the wet cloths attached, it's hardly a 'quick' solution to just grab out of the cupboard.
I'm not a huge fan i'm afraid.

busybee6969 • 27/10/2019 - 16:08

no mop bucket need fast flexible clean

jammy32 • 27/10/2019 - 21:50

Quick easy and smells so good. If u didnt already enjoy mopping u will now :-)

Kelliewilliams36 • 27/10/2019 - 22:06

I've been into Wilko today & if anyone has coupons left they are doing the mop for £10 with a free £3 pack of refills so would be a bargain to tell anyone with the £2 off voucher!

Andysav92 • 27/10/2019 - 22:26

Can't say I'm a massive fan unfortunately.. Wipes are far too wet initially and do not always stay attached to the mop. Does a decent enough job of cleaning muddy paw prints off my kitchen floor, but no better than any other floor wipe.

LuaLua • 28/10/2019 - 16:37

I get on well with these, but do find them quite pricey. Having said that, I'm still.going to buy them because they are handy for a quick mid week mop and tidy up. I will be keeping my mop and bucket and will be using that as my regular cleaning but these are handy to have around just for a speedy clean up of those mucky pups.

Mum_of_Matty • 28/10/2019 - 21:08

I have given it a few goes. It is certainly light weight but I have found the wipes very wet. But I was in a bit of a rush to do a quick clean. But it helped with that! Going to give it a few more goes before making a decision about buying more.

Laura4 • 29/10/2019 - 07:41

I like how quick it is to mop the floor however I have to use two wipes so would work out quite expensive

ags22 • 29/10/2019 - 10:01

I love the ease of the mop! However I did find it doesn’t get into grout very well so not the best overall clean. The wipes smell lovely but they are very wet so it’s hard getting out the packet and they drip everywhere. You need to press quite hard to get a decent clean and then the wipes try to fall off. Not bad for a quick clean/refresh but not for a full on deep clean they aren't that efficient I’m afraid!

sahdia92 • 29/10/2019 - 10:03

My initial impressions were great! i was so excited to try this products as i love the Flash brand. However i did try them in my hallway and they felt like regular wipes with just a mop handle. i had to go through quite a few wipes to get my small hallway cleaned. I'm not really seeing anything new here with this product. But i thought i would stick at it and continue using it to get my full review of the product.

shazzababbs • 29/10/2019 - 11:26

on first opinion I thought it was a bit flimsy but now I like that as it's super lightweight, I like the fact the wipes are wet, however I do find they leave my floor a bit sticky and I think the wipes are expensive in comparison to other floor wipes that do pretty much the same job, I will purchase the wet wipes for heavier cleaning for instance on a wet day but for quick everyday cleaning I think they should bring out a basic cheaper floor wipe, but over all I am very impressed and will continue to use it so it's a thumbs up from me.

cpezzer • 29/10/2019 - 15:38

Really great experience. Quick to set up, fast to attach a head and gets the place very clean quickly. Extremly happy

Lucyjayne90 • 29/10/2019 - 17:49

The ease of use. Super speedy great clean and smells amazing!!

Sian2507 • 29/10/2019 - 22:26

Its lightweight and speedy and good for a quick rub over. The wipes are difficult to remove from the packaging and they dry too quick... One wipe needed per floor surface, also the lemon smell of the wipes doesn't stay. Overall, its an ok product. Some improvements with the wipes is needed but the mop itself has potential

NicciLove • 30/10/2019 - 05:57

We love the super mop especially my son. He’s been mopping and singing the theme tune!!!

dinmore • 30/10/2019 - 23:22

I use to have the old flash mop with the flash spray. Sadly this is not quite as sturdy and the pole bends. It's great that it breaks down but easier to store all put together. The wipes are too wet and dry out too fast. They were also not really easy to get out of the package. It made a bit of a splashing mess. I really like the smell but what says lemon smells like green apple to me. This mops quickly but does not dry fast. I have sealed ceramic types that are textured, I don't feel like it got all the dirt out over some of the time grooves and again needed more than 1 wipe for small kitchen.

jw.86 • 31/10/2019 - 09:47

I like the convenience of the Flash Speedmop and it's good on every day spills like mud and food. I have been using it in my weekly clean as well as 'on the spot' cleans like after meals.
The only downside I have found is.... the floor wipes are soggy so you drip the cleaning fluid everywhere before you get a chance to wipe up other messes.

Saver930 • 31/10/2019 - 11:44

Having used the mop several times now, I would have to say that overall I think the wipes are too wet as they drip everywhere. However once they have dried a bit they are great. I did use a whole packet to do my kitchen/diner, sunroom and hallway so in the long term these will be expensive. Great and convenient but could be better in my opinion.

katehewlett • 31/10/2019 - 16:34

Very light and easy to assemble, just hope its not too flimsy.

Black1 • 31/10/2019 - 20:59

I am very Impressed with my #FlashSpeedmop it is very light and easy to assemble I could clean my floors very quickly and my home was left with a lovely fragrance

Black1 • 31/10/2019 - 21:12

When I first introduced the #FlashSpeedmop to friends and family I showed them how easy it is to assemble and how light it is I also showed them the swivel technique and how easy it is to clean under furniture without bending and there all loved the lovely fragrance the wipes have some of my friends and family said there will be buying a #FlashSpeedmop and will be using the money of vouchers

Katiem071 • 01/11/2019 - 16:24

Quick use last night after kids came
In from trick or treating. Does the job quickly for when needed from smelling fresh aswell in these wet and dirty days

Katiem071 • 01/11/2019 - 16:24

Gave voucher to mum as she has a new puppy so these are perfect for her

mollyno9 • 01/11/2019 - 23:16

I’ve tried the mop in the bathroom, kitchen and hallway over the last few weeks. I like the swivel head and that it gets into tight corners. I find this mop best for in between cleans to mop up dirt and spills in a flash. The wipes were very wet and dripped all over but then dried out fairly quickly.

isabel330 • 02/11/2019 - 12:26

Very impressed. Only took me one minute and one cloth to clean my whole kitchen floor.

Jrh2 • 02/11/2019 - 15:57

Having recently tried out the Flash Speedmop I am very impressed! I have found it to be a very quick and efficient way to clean the floors and a lot more convenient than using a mop and bucket.

When I first unboxed the Speedmop I found it was very easy to put together and is made to be of great quality. I found as the poles are joined together yourself, it does bend a little if you press too hard but it's to be expected with it being the height it is. The height of the mop is great as it is not too short and so very easy to use.

I was impressed that the starter kit came with six of the wipes but I do think that it would become quite costly to keep buying the wipes, depending on how often you use it though. I like the thought that has gone into the wipes. They are made to be thick in the middle which is something I have not seen before (and did confuse me a bit at the start as I thought multiple wipes were stuck together!) I also think the green edge on the wipe is very clever and unique, this would encourage me to keep buying the Flash brand of wipes as it is a clever way to get harder stuck on bits of dirt off the floor rather than constantly going over with a mop and getting nowhere like I've had happen with a standard mop.

The wipes are very easy to fit on the Speedmop head and stayed in place very well. I have used a similar mop to this at work and get frustrated with the wipes constantly falling off so this really impressed me. The wipe did drip quite a bit of liquid on the floor when I first took them out so maybe it's better to squeeze them first next time.

The scent of the wipes is lovely with a very pleasant and fresh lemon smell which made the kitchen smell lovely and clean after mopping the floor with the Flash Speedmop. Having the bags for the wipes with a proper seal is perfect for keeping them fresh until next time.

The Speedmop was very easy to use and glided across the floor with ease, even around the furniture. Most times we have to remove the chairs from the room to clean the kitchen so it was nice to be able to easily get around them and save a lot of time and effort. It did leave the floor quite wet and slippy for a while but, as I mentioned, I'll probably squeeze a bit of the liquid out first the next time.

I like how the wipes picked up on loose dirt and kept them on the wipe as there's nothing more frustrating than feeling like you're chasing a bit of dirt across the floor. One of my favourite things about the Speedmop is that because of how well the head swivels and manoeuvres it meant not only could I clean the floors but I could easily wipe the side of the cupboards and skirting boards at the same time. These are areas I'd probably not think off with a standard mop but with the Speedmop I may as well if I can!

I am very impressed with the Flash Speedmop, great quality for an affordable price and is the most convenient and efficient way of cleaning hard floors, I'd definitely recommend it!

LisaBolton • 02/11/2019 - 20:35

Very quick to set up and very easy to use, The cloths are very wet and it took 4 cloths to clean my floor, I just wasn’t won over by the flash mop. it does not get in all the crevices even though it is Light and manoeuvrable. I love the nice fragrance.

MariaLG1 • 03/11/2019 - 11:18

It’s very good and fresh smelling but I found to start with I needed quite a few clothes to clean my floor but it’s good as a freshen up

Lily1212 • 03/11/2019 - 13:43

Found the mop easy to manoeuvre into corners and under furniture. The wet wipes make life quicker with not lugging a heavy full mop bucket around.
Love the fragrance too!

ellestar • 04/11/2019 - 10:01

I absolutely love my mop. The fragrance is superb and I love how easy it swivels. I took it around to my friend to let her have a go and she was sold. She couldn’t believe how easy it was to get under her furniture. A definite yes from us

Yorkslass007 • 04/11/2019 - 14:42

Hey I’ve just managed to get some refills so I can continue to use my speed mop .... the refills were on a great offer at wilkos for just £3.00 . My bathroom tiles have had a thorough clean and my bathroom floor in all the nooks and crannies behind the toilet and sink. Thank goodness for the speed mop and friends have bought them too 🥳

absy_uk • 05/11/2019 - 14:22

I was extremely surprised by how wet the wipes were, when I opened the packet they dripped everywhere and all over the table. It made a real mess before I had even started to clean the floors! The wetness also meant that the first few wipes of the floor with the mop were extra damp. However, after those teething problems I was impresssed with the lightness of the mop and how easy it was to put together and take apart. The wipes did get a lot of the dirt off the floor but you really do need to sweep up before you mop as it doesn't collect any larger bits of dirt.

elthorner • 06/11/2019 - 16:23

Unlike most people commenting about the wipes being too wet, I found the wipes to have the perfect amount of moisture. They did not drip or anything, but still managed to clean the floor perfectly. We have a mix of hardwood and tile and both surfaces were left spotless!

Shimmy62 • 07/11/2019 - 06:10

Love this Flash speed mop, its so quick and easy to use. I have recommended to everyone I know and given out the vouchers ,Happy friends and family. I have never used a mop I have been so impressed with. Love #Flash Speedmop

FrannyH • 09/11/2019 - 08:50

I didn’t like it when I used it for the kitchen at home, however, it worked well when cleaning the floors in our toilets at the office. I share business premises with another business and we do the cleaning ourselves; I do the ladies whilst he does the gents. The three lads have all had some vouchers as they’re all impressed with the job it does.

kerry_berry • 19/11/2019 - 10:32

Initially was quite impressed with how easy to assemble the mop was. First fail: The packets of 3 wipes had LOTS of excess liquid in, which spilled on my clothes (not a good start). On the muddy tile floor this excess liquid first helped loosen the dirt but needed many times going over after to get up the excess ‘wet’ streaks. Considering how wet the mop cloths are, they dried out quite quickly. The mop was next to useless on my slate kitchen floor, it can’t cope well with uneven surfaces, there were little puddles in the ridges & grooves of the flooring. Also only 3 wipes in a packet??come on!! 5 or 10 would be better! Next, and this should be really be my first point,, The packet that the wipes come in is NOT recyclable. In this day and age with the war on waste, attempting to reduce landfill, and increase use and recycling of materials, it is absolutely disgusting that P&G cannot use or won’t use packaging with proper recycling symbols on, & by this I mean the triangle ones specifically indicating the plastic resin code. Simply contributing financially to recycling schemes and displaying the ‘green dot’ IS NOT ENOUGH. Shame on you P&G, a manufacturer of your sheer size & scale must be more responsible, and lead by example, make your packaging on ALL your products more recyclable please.
Out of 10, I give this a more than generous 5, i can still use washable fabric fleece cloths on the mop, but until the mop wipes are improved by changing the packaging and the wipes being at least biodegradable (not just partially recyclable in SOME facilities, if you’re lucky) I certainly will not be rushing out to either purchase or recommend this product. I have recycled the vouchers as Im not going to be encouraging use of this shameful product. P&G ‘Flash’ you can do better than this!
