I used Maxfactor for my sisters wedding and i was delighted with the way my skin looked and felt for the day – highly recommend it for a big occasion!

I have used it almost every day since i have recieved it. It has very impressive staying power and does not seem to glide of your face half way through the day. I do set mine with a little light dusting of translucent powder which lets the true colour of the foundation come through. I have not been out and about much as i have recently had a shoulder operation but going to my physio regularly and having friends over everyone says i look really well and i can only put that down to the fantastic coverage and natural glow the foundation gives me. I am really glad i got picked for this project as i don’t think i would have been tempted to buy it otherwise as you do tend to stick to the same brands sometimes and i was heavily into using mineral makeup however it does show that experimenting and going for something different is worthwhile when it comes to makeup in general. I use it every day as it’s so good. It’s not heavy on the skin at all, so you can wear it every day. It really has made a difference to my skin & I have had many comments from people complementing me on my skin. Will defiantely be buying, once the bottle is finished.

I’m always surprised at the end of the day when cleansing before going to bed, how much is actually still there on my face. I think after using it everyday for a month, I’ve gotten used to my skin looking great, and can’t quite believe how little effort it’s taken. I look natural, not caked in makeup as my cleansing cloth would have me believe. Also that from 7am- to 11pm it has not gone anywhere! Brilliant product. It’s been a pleasure to do the project.

Last night was my first “sweaty” night out

I had been in a club, and gone straight from work in a bar. So I touched up my make up before heading out. I simply applied a little more of the foundation as i feel it really does layer up beautifully. unlike some make up, if you try and layer it, it will go cakey, but this stuff really hits the spot (quite literally thank goodness… I have mount vesuvius on my chin right now!)

After this i reapplied lashings of black mascara and liner and off I went.

Local gay club with all my boys which plays the cheesiest tunes all night so I danced til i felt like my legs were going to fall off!

My hair was stuck to the back of my neck it was so warm in the club, but when i went to the loo, expecting to have to touch up my make up again (there was still a good hour of dancing to be done) it didn’t need anything doing to it!

Not only does this foundation do everything it claims to, but it actually lasts really well too.

One of the boys who was with me also used it and he kept on saying how good his skin felt too, so you have yet another convert!!

I often used to find that after a full day of wearing my foundation I have to reapply it if i’m going somewhere in the evening to make sure it is fresh and has full coverage. However, with the Ageless Elixir I don’t feel the need to do this as the coverage is long lasting.

I just realised after reading today’s blog entry, that I have not been re-applying/ topping up Ageless Elixir during the day like previous foundations . Really cool product!!!

i have been using the foundation for 2 weeks now and i have noticed a difference to my skin especially round the mouth. My hubby has said a few times that I am looking well, and as I have been ill for a while its great that he is noticing. I am going to a party on Friday and there will be a lot of people that i haven’t seen for ages, some of them not for years so it will be interesting to see if anyone notices anything.

I use toddler club to spread the msg of maxfactor elixir. Most of the mums are in their thirties. So i have given out all the samples and coupons. They are extremely satisfied with it. Really cool product.

This product has fantastic staying power. I have used it nearly everyday of the project but never feel the need to reapply during the day. If going out at night I would apply a fresh application. I have really enjoyed trying out this product and I think it’s fantastic. It’s become my new foundation of choice! Love it!

It’s a marvellous product. I have always had combination skin and at 53, as an ex-smoker too, I have my fair share + of fine lines! I wear the foundation every day for work, without any powder, as it has a lovely matte finish, and it stays put whether I work 4, 6 or 8 hours. Love it!
I don’t go out much in the evenings, but I’d feel confident just touching up my “shiny spots” with a dab on a make-up sponge. This is just a brilliant product and I have no samples or vouchers left… that says it all I think!! =D

Definitely has excellent staying power. I never retouch this foundation at all – for every day wear it’s perfect. I must admit, on nights out, I haven’t given it the benefit of the doubt, as I prefer a heavier coverage, so use the elixir as a base foundation, and apply a little more of my Clinique foundation on the spots I think need a bit more depth of coverage. Works really well in this instance too and is saving me money – I used to always use a primer underneath my foundation, but don’t need one with Elixir, and now am only using a tiny bit of a more expensive foundation on the odd night out, instead of day to day! Fantastic product, and will be buying it once it’s all gone (although it seems to be lasting forever!)

I like the fact for me, I do not need to use 2-1 with powder, so much easier.
I am sure it is also much more suitable for the cold weather, it feels as if it really protects.

I am very impressed with the staying power of Ageless Elixir. I have found that not only does a little go a long way, but a little lasts a long time too! Very cost effective! I have never needed to reapply it throughout the day even after rushing round like a headless chicken at work. Its still there when I get home at night and still looks as good.

I’ve used this foundation nearly everyday since having it, I’ve never had the need to reapply, it has great staying power and last all day and evening.

This definately is value for money because it’s so long lasting. Both a sunscreen and a foundation that lasts all day long with brilliant coverage and i like the scent too.

I only wear this for work (2-3 days per week) as I found it too rich to use everyday but have to say that it has great staying power and continues to look great even at the end of a busy shift when the rest of me is falling apart. Now that ive been using it for a few weeks I can notice the difference in my skin, its a lot smoother and my dry patches have more or less disappeared – will definitely continue to use this instead of my normal brand of foundation.

I had a family wedding at the weekend, so started very early and went on very late, I applied my elixir @ around 9am and took it off at 4am, I cried,danced the night away and it didn’t budge! I was super impressed and so were other females which gave me another fantastic opportunity to big up this product, they were all rushing to buy it on Monday, some have already texted me excited by their new purchase! I was dubious at first but this is a god send, my skin has never looked better and best of all it’s natural looking, I hate it when people look like they’ve been tangoed!!

I have never been loyal to a brand of foundation as I have always been keen to try the next best thing – not anymore!! I can honestly say this is the best foundation I have used as it gives a great coverage without being too heavy and it lasts all day; it it the first foundation I have used that will still look great at the end of the day. A little certainly goes a long way with this so value for money too )

I have been using it on a daily basis now, a little really does go a long way and stays put the whole of the working day. It is light, doesn;t feel heavy, I am very impressed and when this runs out I shall definitely be buying more!

I’m using almost daily and applying before 8 in the morning, working all day in the NHS and it’s still there when i finish at 5pm. Patients are commenting on my fresh appearance so well done!

My husband had a birthday party recently at our local pub all of our family and friends were there i had a few comments from the girls how nice my makeup looked! and considering i was dancing most of the night the makeup did not slide off at all and stayed put all night.
Im very impressed with this foundation and i would only ever buy this foundation in the future.

I’m still amazed that my make-up stays on sooooo long even though I’ve been using it daily for ages now! It was very useful when I was on holiday because it’s not always convenient to touch-up your make-up when you’re out and about. I’ve been out on day trips and still looked good at the end of the day. I can’t remember another make-up in the past that lasted so well.

I have been using the foundation about 6 days out of 7 since I received it and it looks exactly the same at the end of the day, as 5 minutes after applying. Even more gratifying is that I seem to have used almost nothing from my free bottle – last forever. That is definitely a reason, all on its own, for never using anything else!

I have been using Max Factor every day now and was particularly impressed when I wore it for a night out , as it lasts so long without the need to reapply. I’m really impressed with how well the foundation lasts – normally, I find that foundation goes blotchy after only a few hours and needs re-applying to get it even again – but not this one – it lasts and lasts! Like another poster, I do usually apply a very light powder over the top but I’m beginning to think that this is more habit than necessity – must try to cure myself of that habit.

I went away for a conference over the weekend so popped one of the samples in my makeup bag – and I was very impressed with the staying power! I hadn’t brought the foundation with me when I left my hotel at 9am but I still looked glowing when I went to bed at 2am! the foundation is soooooooooooo long lasting with excellent coverage. definitely value for money and i love the fact that it contains an spf.

This foundation really does have staying power. Usually my usual foundation has started to wear thin by the end of the day but this one really stays put! Bonus is that it contains an SPF so I don’t have to apply my own sunscreen.

I have been using the foundation every day since I received it and have found that it generally tends to last me all day with good coverage although a few times my skin has shone through the foundation so I have had to apply some more or a Max Factor powder to reduce the shine. Overall though it last very well and I only tend to reapply it in the early evening if I am going out for the night and I then find it lasts very well for the duration.

A lot of theladies that I have given the samples to have commented on the staying power of the foundation. I noticed that during the few days at the beginning of October when the weather was very hot ,that the foundation lasted all day and into the evening with no need for retouching. My previous foundation never lasted more than a few hours!

I agree with the ‘no transfers to clothes’ comment. It’s not come off on any tops that I have to pull over my head, and does seem to stay on all day. Some friends feel that it hasn’t stayed put well and I do reapply between day and night if I go out, but it certainly stood the test in the heatwave we had at the end of September which was great!

Twice a week I go to university all day then work my part-time job until midnight. The ageless 2-in1 amazingly stays put for all this time! I still have good coverage by the time I come to wash my face at night.

I am going to be very unpopular! I have found that the serum does come off on my hair and hands if you don’t give it enough time to ‘set’. It is lovely stuff but I really do think you need to let it sit for a while before carrying on with the rest of your make-up. It is maybe just me!

I have worn this foundation a lot over the past few weeks as I think its fab! I have worn it for work, meals out, meals in and partying. I have found that it lasts well with great coverage for my complextion.

I find a little goes and long way, so as well the fact I dont need to reapply , the bottle is lasting a LONG time and so it is good value for money

I put it on in the morning and it does last on me all day, which is great. Plus I only use the smallest amount which means the foundation will last longer.

A tip for those whose skin is oily or they find this foundation does not last, use a primer before.

This product lasts so well! I work a lot of nightshifts but being a busy mum before my first one I’m up early for the school run. My face goes on at 7am, stays on all day, copes with a nap late afternoon and with a little whisp of powder on my nose, lasts all night till I get home at 7.30. Since starting to use ageless elixir, I’ve had several people coming on for the day shift ask me whether I’m working the day shift because I look so fresh! Brilliant!

I used the foundation for work on a longhaul flight. My skin normally feels really dry during the flight but I didn’t feel the need to re do my make up with Max Factor.

I find it can be difficult to find a foundation that is not too drying or that does not make my skin oily but this is amazing neither dry or oily and lasts all day.

I feel i don’t need to top up the foundation at all as it lasts all day, even through hot flushes!!!

I wear mine most days and find that it does stay put although it can ‘line’ across my eyelid creases. I will be going abroad in two weeks time so I will definitely taking it with me to help protect against the sun and keep looking good. Will let you know how it goes

I’ve found The elixir lasts a full working day ……. baring in mind i walk to work and back (40 mins each day!!) I would top it up if i was going out somewhere special in the evening, but i wouldnt if i was just going out after work, or round a mates.

Sadly I have been to the funeral of a friend today and that has given my foundation its best test so far. It has stood up to standing out in the rain, to tears and to hugs and kisses. I applied it at 8 this morning and it is still in place and looking good now (5.30 in the evening). I’m just chilling out now after an emotional day and when I saw the email asking about staying power I just had to tell you. My friend would understand as she always looked immaculately groomed and would have been a fan of this product had she not already been too ill when the project began. RIP Patricia.

It does last all day for me and does not feel heavy to wear plus side for me is not having to wear powder after applying the foundation,definately a winner foundation.

The staying power of this foundation is amazing. It lasts all day and I don’t feel like i’m wearing foundation as it’s sooooooo light!

As a more mature lady. I always have to use a serum under foundation. If I don’t it it like slapping paint onto a newly plastered wall. I was most impressed with this foundation. It went on very smoothly, but most impressive was how very light it felt. As I only now only use foundation when I am going out, I am not used to it, so usually can’t wait to remove it.

However this foundation does not trouble me, and I am not rushing for the wipes when I come home like I usually do. I am very impressed. I have given samples to friends, and they are reporting similar experiences to me. Nothing negative so far. Except that the vouchers could only be used in Boots, when Superdrug were giving a free gift with their foundation.

The staying power of Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2in1 Foundation is better than any other I’ve ever tried. I like the fact that it doesn’t transfer to my clothes and still looks fresh at the end of the day. I have oily skin and find that most foundations tend to slide off throughout the day, especially when I’m having one of my many hot flushes, that is not the case at all with this wonderful product.

I am so impressed with its staying power – this is definately not a gimmack. On my previous posts I left comments stating it stayed on after x biking in the gym. I don’t know if anyone has ever done x biking but you sweat profusely, literally the sweat would be dripping of me and the make up STILL stayed on. I will also admit to the odd night where I have been out on the town and went to bed with my make up on (I know a Cardinal sin), however I woke up with the make up still on my face (despite a lot of smudged mascara). In general despite these extreme situations it is completely flawless after over 12 hours. I usually put my make up on around 6.30 in the morning and would not return home until after 7 and its still perfect. I LOVE IT!

regular clients have noticed the difference and the comments have ALL been positive.

i dont really wear make up but was very impressed by the way 2 in 1 looked so natural like a glow unlike some foundations. this is a fantastic foundation, when i use to use my old foundation i always found that by tea time my skin didn’t glook at good as first thing in the morning, but with ageless elixir foundation it lasts so much longer so after doing a really long shift at work i don’t look so bad as i used to.

I have read all the blog posts on this topic as this is something that I dont aree with an concerned that I am doing something wrong.

I have tried the product with and without moisturiser, tried it with and with powder. I even had a cold shower so my skin was not hot on application and all this did was make me miserable.

I look great in the dark on the way to work, but by the time the lights come on, I am afraid my makeup is gone!

The only time when it lasted until lunch was when I had forgotten what I was doing and started to re-apply, making it very thick – and I agree with the comment above that you can easily re-apply!

Having said that, I am not a huge one for make-up if my skin is looking fresh and moisturised, so I am still happy with the product and the effect on my skin!

I don’t use the foundation every day, but on the mornings when I look in the mirror and see dark circles it helps give me a pick me up. After applying it I look fresher faced and not quite so tired. It also lasts right through until nght time too.
I haven’t yet been out really late after a day at work but I’m sure it would stand up to that test just as well. x

I’ve just come back from a week in Egypt. Used Ageless Elixir over a factor 30 facial sun cream. It lasted all day and it was very hot. Even lasted after getting splashed in the pool.

must say it doesn’t seem to last well over pores for me……leaves a rather shiny appearance unless i use powder over the top

I do my face at 7:30am. By the time I go to bed at around 10pm, it is still in place. I have to use wipes and cleanser to remove it all and I don’t put much on!! Maybe it works better on an oily skin.

Fantastic staying power! I went out to a couple of nightclubs last weekend (hadn’t done that for a while!) – and it lasted all night, and well into the early hours of the morning. I still looked the part when I got home at 4.30am – even though I am almost in my mid-40′s!! Thank you Max Factor!!

It is a fab product! Due to circumstances, when I attended the Pride of Britain Awards, I had to do my make up at 10am in the morning! It lasted throughout the train trip from South Wales to London, a very sweaty tube ride, a champagne reception, dinner, the awards ceremony and the after party! I still looked fab at 2am. It also did a great job of making me look less like a zombie when I was thoroughly hungover the next day!

I have found that the serum lasts through a hard day at work running after 30 7year olds and it has never “melted off”. It doesn’t look like a mask on my face instead it looks like I have a healthy glow and have had a good nights sleep. Unlike any other foundation I have paid tonnes of money for in the past I get loads of positive comments. Infact since I have been using it and cant count the number of people who have commented on the fact they cant believe how old I am. Never happened before. Honest!!!!!!
