Our two-week project extension is now up, meaning the end of our Bold 2in1 project has finally arrived.
Over the last 10 weeks we’ve been astounded by the number of conversation reports, research sheets and photos that we have received, and taken aback at the 5,000+ comments on our project blog! So, our final blogpost takes a look back at the highlights of our two-and-a-half-month project:

While we’re all used to snuggling up in bed with our Bold-washed sheets and pillows, it has come to our attention here that not everybody has stopped there when using their Bold 2in1 Rose Blush & Peony detergent gel…
Over the last few weeks, Savvy Circle member bonbon67 has sent in several fantastic conversation reports about her camper van trips across the country and beyond, with the Rose Blush & Peony detergent playing its part on the trip too!
I have just been on a camping trip with my partner. It’s a VW car show and we sleep in a 1960′s VW campervan. Just in case it’s cold at night I always take my fluffy blanket. This time I washed it in Bold 2 in 1 and packed it away. When I made the bed up at night my partner commented that there was a nice smell in the van. I told him it was the new washing gel I was testing. [...]
And it’s seems like the scent became somewhat contagious, with her friend also wanting a bit of action; so she too got to washing her bedding with the new scent:
One of my friends was impressed with the lovely smell of the camper after I had washed all the bedding in Bold 2 in 1. She has told me that she bought some and washed all the bedding, curtains and cushion covers and her camper van now smells as nice as mine. I’m sure she will tell more friends and we will soon have the sweetest smelling camp site at our next event.

It is obvious that the Bold 2in1 Rose Blush & Peony detergent gel has been specifically designed to catch the attention of women, from the floral bottle to the pink gel and ‘feminine’ scent.
However, that definitely does not mean that it’s just a women-only product, as has been proven by many of our fellow Savvy Circle members in the project team!

Over the past two months on our Bold project we’ve received thousands of conversation reports and nearly eight hundred photos. We have also seen a fantastic number of online reviews by members of our project team, some of which we’d love to share here.
Whether on personal blogs, over Facebook or on one of the many online review sites such as Ciao and Dooyoo, loads of us have taken the opportunity to share our opinions on review sites so other people can see what we think about the new Bold.
Bold 2in1 Gel Rose Blush and Peony is very good washing gel that really softens clothes. It’s very effective and efficient [...] You don’t need to use separate powder & softener so I think I can live with that. This is great product and one of the best washing gels I’ve used. After using Bold 2in1 Rose Blush & Peony intensively for the past eight weeks we have all become real Bold experts!
In our project we’ve all used the Rose Blush & Peony fragrance in a range of situations and with lots of different people, as well as shared lots of tips and tricks for keeping our laundry fresher for longer – meaning we’ve got a lot to report about!
Our project handbook already provided you with a message to spread, but you no doubt have your own fantastic ideas and suggestions to spread the word about Bold’s new Rose Blush & Peony gel among your friends and families.
@all: What’s the key message you’d use to sum up what you like about the new fragrance? Share your ideas below!
Water hardness plays a key role in dosing correctly, as the mineral content in your water determines how effectively your detergent works.
Hard water areas contain a higher mineral content and will need softening to ensure great cleaning results.
That’s why detergent manufacturers recommend (check the back label on your Bold Rose Blush & Peony bottle!) dosing slightly more in hard water areas, to allow enough detergent to firstly break down the water hardness, and then clean your clothes.
This is what some of our fellow testers have to say about the issue of water hardness:
A month on and we’ve just used it all up, the washing has come out clean and smelling great and the small bottle has lasted as long as a big box of powder, even with our hard water. Savvy Circle member jonmcm

We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed at the project team’s response to our first two Savvy Circle projects for Max Factor and Bold. Thanks for your fantastic work so far!
Your feedback has been passed on to Bold on a weekly basis and the team there are delighted with all of the conversation reports, blog comments, market research sheets and photos that have been sent in.
As a result it has been decided to extend our eight week project by a further two weeks, meaning we now have until 04 November to keep sending in feedback and spreading the word so that we can continue delighting the bold team in our joint Savvy Circle project!

Children and pets. Believe it or not, they are among the dirtiest creatures around – and one look at our photo gallery tells me that a lot of our households contain at least one of these two species.

Whether it’s a filthy baby’s bib or a damp, muddy towel you used to clean up the dog, we’d love to hear how well Bold was able to clean them up and have them smelling delightful.

The fresh new scent of Rose Blush & Peony is the latest addition to Bold 2in1′s Infusions collection, which already consists of Ruby Jasmine and White Diamond & Lotus Flower.
As well as having a great scent the range includes the brand’s Perfume Micro Capsule technology, meaning bursts of fragrance will be released even while you’re wearing your freshly-washed clothes.
The Bold range is available in a variety of formats: Powder, gel, Liquitab and tablets, so you can choose the format which suits you best. Do you prefer one format over the other? If so, let us know which, and why!
